Peterson Glass has been providing glass products and glazing services to the Marquette area for over 50 years. It has been owned and operated by Bill Flanigan since 1992. He expanded the business providing services to residential as well as commercial business. In 1996, Peterson Glass moved from the Lake Street area to its present location at 621 W. Washington. Peterson Glass expanded the business with the addition of the WINDOW STORE. the WINDOW STORE offers residential and commercial projects with top of the line windows for new construction and rehab projects along with Three Seasons Sunrooms. Peterson Glass /the WINDOW STORE earned the "1996 Property Improvement Award" from the city of Marquette beautification committee for the remodeled showroom.
In 1999 a complete renovation and addition was underway. This included a complete new showroom, new offices, shop area, new warehouse and modern ADA compliant showroom and parking lot. March 10, 2000 renovations were complete and the Home Improvement Center was ready to start serving the community. A new warehouse addition was completed in the fall of 2004. In 2007 the Window Store expanded again to include the ABC Seamless franchise. Now known as the Window Store/ABC Seamless, the business added seamless steel siding and gutters to the products and services offered. While the name may have changed the same great customer service and products remain.
Bill Flanigan has over 30 years of residential and commercial construction experience. His experience encompasses all phases of construction in Michigan, Wisconsin and Florida. He served a 4-year carpenter apprenticeship, has been a licensed contractor since 1978 and opened his first business, "Flanigan Builders," in 1979.
The Flanigan family has owned and operated businesses in the Marquette area for the past 130 years. The tradition of entrepreneurship has passed on from generation to generation along with the tradition of servicing the community with excellence in products and service.
