Glass System
Maxuus-10 delivers the ultimate energy system.
It is triple pane assembly combining two panes of
multilayered vacuum-deposition soft-coat Low-E insulating
glass with an interior glass substrate which provides
two insulating chambers of Krypton gas. The result
is an insulated glass unit that is nearly 10 times
more energy efficient than single glass.
Krypton is a safe, odorless, colorless gas which
is heavier than air. When used in conjunction with
soft-coat Low-E glass, Krypton provides better insulation.
That’s because heat and cold do not pass through
Krypton gas as easily as through air. Krypton is
non-toxic.

R-Core Insulation
The R-factor (insulation value) per linear inch
of a Uniframe window frame is seven times greater
than that of an ordinary vinyl frame. The secret
is our patented R-Core insulation, a high density
solid-polyurethane insulation, like the kind used
in many refrigerator and freezer doors. It is pre-expanded
for optimum insulation power with no voids or settling.
